The future is full of possibilities, there seem to be so many choices.

But looking back on life, it's just one winding road.

The raging "present" has knocked down the possibilities and solidified them into an unmovable straight road.

There is no if. There is no point in wasting time thinking about it. The "present" pushes me to look forward.

There is no right or wrong choice. Everything may be already decided.

Futile resistance. Is there no freedom for "I"?

In the Greek tragedy "Oedipus,"

Oedipus acts to escape an ominous prophecy, and thus fulfills it.

By the time he realized it, it was too late. Everything was destined to be this way.

Was Oedipus ever free?

I always feel doomed after it's all over, and there was freedom I never knew.

Everything comes to this.
