We, Setagaya Tenryu Taiko, are an amateur Japanese drumming circle active in the Futakotamagawa, Seijo and Kinuta areas of Setagaya Ward.

If you play taiko, you will feel refreshed and your life will be full of vitality. If you play the shinobue flute, you will feel clean from inside of your body as you breathe. We are an energetic circle of men and women, young and old, who are fascinated by taiko and shinobue, and who work together in harmony.

Our vision for our activities is to contribute to the community, nurture youth, and make friends through the medium of taiko. We perform at facilities in the Setagaya area and teach at local elementary schools. We brighten and enliven the community by joining breaths and sounds with like-minded friends.
